A video to help explain what E=mc2 means.
Some more information
For all the Sheldon Coopers out there.
using a meme to look at this
E = mc2. It's the world's most famous equation, but what does it really mean? "Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared." On the most basic level, the equation says that energy and mass (matter) are interchangeable; they are different forms of the same thing. Under the right conditions, energy can become mass, and vice versa. We humans don't see them that way—how can a beam of light and a walnut, say, be different forms of the same thing?—but Nature does.
So why would you have to multiply the mass of that walnut by the speed of light to determine how much energy is bound up inside it? The reason is that whenever you convert part of a walnut or any other piece of matter to pure energy, the resulting energy is by definition moving at the speed of light. Pure energy is electromagnetic radiation—whether light or X-rays or whatever—and electromagnetic radiation travels at a constant speed of 300,000 km/sec (186,000 miles/sec).
Why, then, do you have to square the speed of light? It has to do with the nature of energy. When something is moving four times as fast as something else, it doesn't have four times the energy but rather 16 times the energy—in other words, that figure is squared. So the speed of light squared is the conversion factor that decides just how much energy lies within a walnut or any other chunk of matter. And because the speed of light squared is a huge number—90,000,000,000 (km/sec)2—the amount of energy bound up into even the smallest mass is truly mind-boggling.
Here's an example. If you could turn every one of the atoms in a paper clip into pure energy—leaving no mass whatsoever—the paper clip would yield 18 kilotons of TNT. That's roughly the size of the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima in 1945. On Earth, however, there is no practical way to convert a paper clip or any other object entirely to energy. It would require temperatures and pressures greater than those at the core of our sun.

Spiral galaxy millions of light years away
Gas and dust that will one day form stars.
looking further and further back in time.
Galaxies about to collide.
The galaxy, named Kiso 5639, is located 82 million light-years away from Earth. A photo released by NASA shows just how busy the "tadpole" galaxy is as a firestorm of newborn stars blaze out of one end of the galaxy, lighting up the cosmos.

It is a fact that after some beatles concerts, the cleaning people had to clean up articles of clothing (most likely flung and missed) and other bodily fluids (u would understand). Difficult job for them.....
But this also says something else, the craze... the extent the audience liked their music. They were totally in a crazy world. And you see how current day crap bands boast about their female fans :P

For all those who are keeping an eye on the Kashmir issue... I'm being as frank as I can here.
Disclaimer: I'm not against any Pakistani common man, there are lots and lots of nice people. I'm only against their government and possibly, their state-funded terrorism (which is harming themselves like a parasite).
All I wish for is world peace. I'm not speaking for anybody, just stating the facts. It's pure hypocrisy by the separatists. Everyone forgot the help the Indian Army lent during floods, everyone forgot the rescue operations. The army men provided them with supplies, and at some places they even laid down to make a man-bridge for the victims to cross over safely. The separatist leaders (I doubt that they have a secret alliance with either the Pakistan government or the terrorists or both) are sending their children to safe places like Britain and installing the feeling of hatred in the minds of the locals, making them pelt stones at public property and at the army men.
They say that they can survive without the aid from the Indian government, but as of now, it's far from reality. If it does happen, then they are the ones who will face the blow. Being a part of India, Kashmiris have very good facilities. For example, there is a separate quota for Kashmiri immigrant students in any Indian state. They are just being brainwashed by the above suspected groups.
There came a news some months ago that a woman was raped by a personnel from the Indian army. There was a lot of media coverage. But later, the woman herself admitted that the rapist was not a soldier, but a localite from her village. Our sold out prestitute media didn't cover this much.
There have also been speculations that Pakistan government or their army (which isn't totally controlled by the government) might be persuading the localites to protest in order to seek revenge against India for liberating Bangladesh (formerly East Pakistan) from Pakistan. If you aren't aware, Western Pakistan didn't take good care of Bangladesh...they were called names and insulted. If you ask today's old Bangladeshis, you'll come to know that they never felt like they were a part of Pakistan, but very isolated. India and Bangladesh are currently benifitting each other through trade relations (jute textile, gas pipeline connections, high speed internet - upcoming project etc.).
At the end of the day, International borders are only man-made boundaries. There should be no hate. By destroying public property, they are incurring a loss to themselves. I hope that these protestors realize the truth as early as possible and let this drama end.
